(10.05.12) Opportunities Fair in South Park this Saturday

Association Parents together with VIVACOM Fund successfully promote the family sports festival Familatlon already for fourth consequent year 

Sofia, May 10, 2012 - Opportunities Fair is the name of this year's family sports festival Familatlon, organized for fourth year in the capital's South Park. Parents Association, the National Center for Safer Internet and Metropolitan Municipality, together with VIVACOM Fund allows each family to choose individual entertainments and to experience for free badminton, capoeira, aikido, paneurhythmy, archery, robotics, hiking, petanque, yoga and many sports and interesting activities. Traditionally, signing up for participation in the activity is done at the location on the day of the event.

This year Familatlon takes place on 12 May (Saturday) of the dove's meadow in South Park and over 40 sports clubs from across the country will participate in it. The favorite adventure of many of the followers of the family happening is "Little Europe", which tests the participants' orientation skills as well as the Great Bicycle march, circling around South Park.

Initiative Familatlon is dedicated to Europe Day,9th of May, and the World Family Day, 15th of May. Official guests at the event will be the mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova, Deputy Minister of Education Mrs Milena Damyanova, the Chairman of State Agency for Child Protection, Mr. Kalin Kamenov, the Ambassador of Denmark in Bulgaria HE Kaare Janson and the mayor of the Lozenets district, Mr. Lubomir Drekov.
