Throughout the years the employees of VIVACOM show their commitment to the community by donating their free time on the “Volunteering Days”. Campaigns are organized in different towns of the country, depending on the places in need of a helping hand: kinder gardens, parks, homes for the elderly.

VIVACOM is one of the major employers in Bulgaria following a strong social policy. The company is aware of the difference it can make in the society and the opportunity to improve it through volunteer work. In 2010, the telecom united a large number of its employees, creating the Volunteers Club VIVACOM Cares. Each month, the club members donate free time and volunteer labour to causes chosen by themselves: improvement of green areas, care for orphans, work in animal rescue centres, etc. In order for each action to be useful and leave a durable mark, VIVACOM pursues its volunteering activities in partnership with the Metropolitan Municipality, State Agency for Child Protection, Green Balkans, Sofia Zoo and Animal Rescue Sofia Foundation.

For two years in a row VIVACOM was awarded first prize for its volunteering program by the Bulgarian Donors’ Forum.
