As part of its large-scale strategy for development and promotion of Bulgarian sport, VIVACOM supports one of the major and most anticipated sport events in Bulgaria for 2014 – the European Gymnastics Championships for men, women and youths. The championship was held from 12 to 25 May 2014 in “Arena Armeec” and gathered the elite of European gymnastics. A record-breaking number of participants, 600athletes from 39 countries, arrived in Sofia for the competition.

VIVACOM, as main sponsor of the championship and the Bulgarian gymnasts, organized various activities addressed to the sport fans. Together with the national team in gymnastics, VIVACOM organized an eye-catching flash mob in the centre of Sofia.

Through a special game in Facebook, VIVACOM urged fans to support the Bulgarian team in the competition and three lucky participants in the game won a smartphone Sony Xperia M2.

The surprise that truly delighted all visitors of the championship was the autograph session with Yordan Yovchev.
